Named in honor of Nicola, Laura Catena's daughter, this wine reflects the family's dedication and legacy. The grapes are sourced from the Rosas family vineyard in La Consulta, which has been carefully transplanted to Alto Gualtallary to preserve its unique diversity, featuring nearly 100-year-old vines. This Malbec captivates with its deep red color and rich purple tones, showcasing impressive density and concentration.

From the first sip, Nico by Luca Malbec enchants the senses with intense aromas of red fruits like cherries and blackberries, complemented by a hint of spices. On the palate, it delivers a luxurious and structured experience, with velvety tannins that enhance its overall richness. The 20-month aging process in 50% new oak and 50% second-use oak barrels imparts complexity and subtle notes of vanilla and toast, while its potential to age for up to 30 years promises continued evolution.

Perfect for elevating special meals, Nico by Luca Malbec pairs exquisitely with fine dining options such as pan-seared duck breast with cherry reduction, filet mignon drizzled with a rich red wine reduction, or herb-crusted rack of lamb.
